"I have been with State Farm in Easton Md for at least 50 years. I have always had quality, friendly service with them and I didn't know to what extremes they go to until Nov 2024. We had been on a 10 day vacation in S W Fl and left our motel at 5am on a Friday morning. At about 6:30 am in the Tampa area of I 75 I had an accident. Ran into the back of a flatbed trailer, thankfully in a work zone, so not a high rate of speed. No body was injured except our 2020 Ford Edge-RED. I called the State Farm Claim number on my card and the lady I talked to took care of everything: Made sure everyone was ok first :) Gave me a list of where my car could be towed to and I chose Caliber Collision because I know they are a National Body Shop. Sent me a text with the address and phone number for them. Also sent me a text with the name and phone number of the Towing company that would take my car from the highway directly to Caliber. The tow truck driver even called me when he was on his way. He even made room for the 3 of us to ride with him to Caliber. The state Farm lady told me that we would get a Rental Vehicle from Enterprise to get us back the 1000 miles to home. At the body shop they had been advised by state farm to call enterprise when we arrived so the rental could be brought to us. Within an hour of our arrival Enterprise was there with a vehicle that was just right to carry all of our baggage from the past week. After transferring our belongings and 6 hours after the 6:30am accident we were finally on our way HOME!! I cannot adequately express the comfort and stress relief State Farm provided for me with this accident happening so far from home. Having never had an accident before they truly showed their compassion to help their clients. To everyone at State Farm Insurance please know that I am truly grateful for your help.
